Peer support is voluntary, self-directed, strength-based, mutual, and individualized. Lived experience varies from person to person. Beautiful Minds Recovery peer support specialists have their own lived experience in navigating addiction, mental illness, disability, grief and/or trauma.
Peer supporters can also provide resource navigation, distraction to help get through a tough time, a space to vent, help getting basic needs met, assistance building a self written crisis plan, or more.
Glendive Medical Center (GMS) & Gabert Clinic is a regional healthcare center providing outpatient therapy, addiction intervention, emergency care, and workplace wellness. Including: • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Confidential short-term counseling, crisis evaluation, and referral management for employees, eligible family, and contracted regional organizations. • Behavioral & Addiction Counseling: Licensed clinical social work (LCSW) and addiction counseling (e.g., Natalie Reeder, LCSW/Addiction Counseling) for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and SUD co-occurring conditions. • Medical Care & Stabilization: Primary care MAT integration, psychiatric evaluation, and 24/7 emergency room crisis stabilization.
Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center (EMCMHC) — Glendive Clinic - Regional clinic providing mental health, substance use disorder treatment, and recovery services. • Licensed Addiction Counseling (LAC): State-approved chemical dependency assessments, individual/group addiction therapy, ACT/DUI classes, relapse prevention. • Support Services: Integrated dual-diagnosis therapy, psychiatric medication management, Adult Group Home, illness management.
Community Medical Services - specializes in providing outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which may include methadone, buprenorphine, and suboxone combined with counseling and community-based services.
Gratitude in Action (GIA) - Operates Ignatia’s House, a sober living home in Billings.
Ideal Option - Outpatient and MOUD (Medications for Opioid Use Disorders) treatment/suboxone clinic. Locations in Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Cut Bank, Glasgow, Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell and Missoula.
Montana Rescue Mission - Faith-based services offering comprehensive mental health care and recovery support. Therapy, case management, peer support and day treatment are available through their Mission Mental Health Center.
Montana State University - Billings Student Health Services - Offers mental health services and support for students in recovery, suicide prevention and clinical services. Able to make referrals to community resources.
New Day Ranch - provides a range of services and programs for those diagnosed with severe emotional disturbances (SED) and substance abuse issues. Services mental health and/or substance use assessments for youth or adults and includes intensive outpatient treatment and peer support services. In addition offers ACT/DUI and MIP classes as well as other services.
Rimrock Foundation - the largest drug and alcohol addiction treatment center in the region, serving adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Provides full spectrum of services including: assessments, detox management, day treatment, intensive outpatient, inpatient and outpatient treatment, ACT/DUI classes, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and recovery homes.
Riverstone Health - integrated behavioral health clinic providing mental health and substance use therapy and counseling for patients of all ages, in addition to referrals to other community-based services. Services include Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) and alcohol use disorder, counseling services, including for addiction, suicide crisis intervention and more.

STEP Inc. - Operates five sober living homes (one home for women with children, one home for women only, and three homes for men).
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs - Benjamin Charles Steele VA Clinic (Billings) - provides outpatient substance use treatment as well as Medical Assisted Therapy (MAT). An eight weeks-to-two years substance use treatment residential programs and peer support is available. VA-specific treatment programs can also be found through the suds locator at va.gov.
Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch - (serving youth only) Offers a variety of treatment and supports for youth, including community-based services and a residential treatment center located in Billings. YBGR has locations in Missoula and throughout Montana

Alcoholics Anonymous - A fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and help others to recovery from alcoholism. Check website for meetings in communities throughout Montana.

Narcotics Anonymous Montana - is a nonprofit fellowship of recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs. There is only one requirement for membership, the desire to stop using. Check website for statewide meeting times.
